Community Rise Organisation

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)

CRO has a functional M&E framework that integrates baseline surveys, participatory monitoring, outcome harvesting, and impact assessments. The system ensures accountability to stakeholders and informs adaptive programming.

Organizational Strengths

Strong grassroots presence and trusted community relationships in Mulanje and Blantyre. 1. Experienced in integrated, multi-sectoral programming (education, health, livelihoods, gender equality). 2. Proven track record in financial inclusion and women’s empowerment through VSLs and revolving funds. 3. Strong partnerships with local leaders, government institutions, and international donors (Mundo Cooperante, The Hilden Trust, Korea Hope Foundation, CorpsAfrica, Feed the Children, Abiding Love International Fellowship). 4. Capacity to implement large-scale community mobilization and advocacy campaigns. 5. Established infrastructure including a rehabilitation and training center serving as an operational hub.

CRO believes in collaborative partnerships to scale innovations, expand outreach, and ensure sustainability. The organization seeks to partner with like-minded institutions, to scale clean energy access, promote sustainable agriculture, improve market access, and strengthen women’s economic empowerment. CHICOSUDO remains committed to enhancing its institutional capacity and mobilizing resources to build resilient communities in Malawi

LIST OF PROJECTS

Mzimai Odzidalira Project being implemented in Mulanje district. Targeting 200 marginalized women under Group village headmen Matwika, Mandanda and Ntonya, under Traditional Authority Nkanda. It's a one year project will end in February 2026

Women Empowerment through Vocational Skills and access to financial services. This was completed in 2023. It was implemented in Mulanje, Group village Headman Ntonya targeting 150 survivors of Gender based violence, single mothers

Empowering Girls Through Access to education. The project is being implemented in Mulanje, piloted at Nambala primary school under Group Village headman Matwika, Traditional Authority Nkanda. It targets 100 Girls at risk from six Villages

Promoting Early Childhood education through Community Based Child Care Centers. This is ongoing and is being implemented in Lunzu, Blantyre
